Hello! We are excited to start preparations for the 2022 Kentucky Fine art Market!
The show continues under the direction and organization of Dan Neil Barnes, one of Lexington's nationally known glass artists. Dan and his team bring experience from the many national shows he has exhibited in including the American Craft Council Shows, Port Clinton Art Festival in Chicago, Dogwood Festival in Atlanta, Bayou City Festival in Houston and many others.
Nosotros are excited to go on to discover means to brand the Art Market place attractive for Kentucky artists. Our mission is to provide a venue specially for talented Kentucky artists. Kentucky Crafted and Kentucky Guild of Artist and Craftsmen members volition receive priority in the jury selection process.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a venue especially for talented Kentucky artists. We promise to bring talented, individual artists together with people who appreciate and support their creative endeavors. Nosotros are excited to offer original art and craft to customers seeking quality work from existent working artists. Furthermore, we will never knowingly allow exhibitors with less than genuine piece of work to showroom. Nor do we take those buying and selling objects meant to be perceived every bit 18-carat art.
We are too pleased that all of the proceeds from The Kentucky Fine art Market get to back up the outreach ministries of Woodland Christian Church building. This significant fundraiser for Woodland translates into support for many community organizations that help the poor and disenfranchised. Give thanks you lot for your contribution. Set-up:
Friday 8:00am to v:00pm. Staggered times assigned based upon booth location. Set up-upwards time will be sent to artist in advance. NO Sat set-up.
Delight check-in on Friday at the registration desk located inside the church (Kentucky Avenue entrance) for your space assignment, parking passes, and concluding-minute testify information prior to unloading. Exhibitors may drive onto the field to unload/load at their space, weather permitting. Please be prepared to dolly in from the street if needed.
Intermission-down:
Sun 5:01pm - eight:00pm. No early on suspension-downwards. Exhibitors breaking down early will not be invited back to the show side by side year. All booths must be removed from the field by viii:00pm. Exhibit area must be left make clean and free of trash at breakup. Driving onto the field will not be permitted until all customers have left the area.
Awarding Process
Awarding Fee (not-refundable): $30.00
Application Process:
- Print application form and fill it out. (awarding too available online)
- Mail the application course forth with iii printed images (photographs or images printed from your computer) and one booth image to address below
- Include 2 split checks with you lot application. (One bank check for $30 awarding fee and one check for berth fee. The check for booth fee will only be cashed upon notification of acceptance into the bear witness)

Meals
Complimentary breakfast items will be provided each morning. One dejeuner will be provided each day of the show. A lunch ticket for each day volition be included in your registration packet.

Testify Standards
All items offered for auction must be the original work of the exhibitor. The work exhibited and booth design must be consequent with the quality and fashion of work represented in the submitted images. The artist must be present for the entire evidence.
Jury Process
All applications will be juried past a panel of jurors. Dan Neil Barnes will caput the jury process. Dan has been a juror for The American Craft Council, Amdur Productions in Chicago, Francisco Subcontract in Midway and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsman.
Applicants will be notified every bit to their status by email by June i. A waitlist will exist kept past category.
Booth Display
All exhibitors must have a white tent. No tarps or colored tents allowed. Berth displays are to be professional person, neat and attractive. Tables must be covered to the ground. Exhibitors are responsible for securing their booth properly, with stakes and weights (no water jugs). Information technology is a grass field; staking is permitted and encouraged.
Parking
Parking options volition be available for exhibitors next to the show area. Cost and registration for parking will be sent with the exhibitor's acceptance discover. Exhibitors may also apply street parking.
RULES & GUIDELINES
- All items for auction must be the original work of the exhibitor. No buy/sell, imports, kits, or commercial products. Direction reserves the right to remove whatsoever showroom/exhibitor without refund and without recourse.
- Items exhibited and offered for sale must be consistent with submitted images and in accepted category simply. You volition be asked to remove whatsoever items in your booth NOT approved during the application process.
- Exhibitors may not sublet or share booth space.
- An accustomed application is a commitment to evidence. Cancellations must be in writing and submitted to the church 45 days prior to the show. No credits or refunds within 45 days of show. A $fifty.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from whatever refund/credit issued.
- Show is pelting or polish; set-up is on grass. Exhibitors are responsible for securing their berth properly, with stakes and weights.
- $35.00 fee for all returned checks.
- Exhibits/exhibitors must non extend beyond allotted 11 x 11 space and designated storage area backside the berth.
- Submitted images may exist used for publicity purposes. Receipt of images grants permission.
- Security will be provided, however,The Kentucky Fine art Market shall not be liable or responsible for whatever items lost, stolen, or damaged.
- All Exhibitors selling consumable products (prepared foods, soap, any production consumed in or on the body) must have valid commercial general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 (1 million dollars )
- Application fee is required to process applications and is, therefore, not-refundable.
- The Kentucky Art Marketplace reserves the right to make terminal estimation of all rules.
Sales Tax
Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax to the Kentucky Department of Revenue. Tax forms will exist included in your registration bundle.
